We have people on this forum who get squinty about whether a particular model came originally with a particular color combination and certain tuners, whereas a Carvin is a completely "modded" guitar (within Carvin's limits) that has little to do with a particular model. I think there's also a difference in the thinking about a particular model of guitar. The fact that a Carvin is such a good deal in the first place probably reduces the desirability of a used guitar that's extremely nice, but not QUITE what you would have ordered. It's not so much that the market for them is small, I think, as much as the consideration that you can customize your own guitar for not ALL that much more money and have exactly what YOU want.
